Sorrento was the last stretch of our 2-week trip through Italy, and to me it felt as if we saved the best for last. In our 3-day stay, we caught the sights in Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, and Pompei. In the middle of May, we experienced the glorious sun in Southern Italy. The beaches, the food, and copious amounts of limoncello make for amazing memories.
On the eight day of our trip, we took the ferry from Naples to the Island of Capri (pronounced Cap-ri). The island is 45 minutes by ferry from Naples, and if you take the 8 AM ferry from Molo Beverello, as we did, you can experience the bustling of the island on the port of Marina Grande. The small, but beautiful, Capri is the stuff of dreams with crystal-clear water, delicious food, and the sweetest of wines. The island encompassed one of the most photogenic 24 hours of our trip.

This was our first time booking with Costco Travel, the traveling arm of the warehouse giant. The package consisted of flights, transfers to/from the airport, and an all-inclusive resort.

The capital of Maldives is Male; the country is conservative thus contraband such as alcohol is not allowed. The resorts on the different islands are of course a different case.
